Lost At Night

I stagger from left to right
The clouds above hinder the light
I hear the ruckus caused by the wind
I fear the falling of the severed rogue limb
My cause for this danger hidden deep in my heart
This wonderful journey must have its insidious parts
Seeing with my ears I still swing my hands
Under my feet I ambulate over differing lands
The queer thing I find
In the path I've left behind
Is that I know this way
It is my route each and every day
So what makes me blunder
What kind of spell am I under
Is it the change
Of the wind and it's ways
Or maybe the rain
Simply needs to complain
I fear no beast for they are smart
They hide in safety from this dubious dark
But I must move forward into this frightful night
For my love so sweet is my reason to fight
And soon I will be where I'm going
With the largest of smiles firmly showing.
