I Wish I Could Tell You How I Feel

I wish i could tell you how I feel,
I wish i could tell that you're my need.

I wish i could let you know the reason
why im afraid,
And that you aren't the one betrayed.
Theres many more things and thoughts involved,
Than just us two and thinking that it is all your fault.
You might think im a heartless being,
For having loved and lost at the blink of an eye,
But I love you so, I cannot deny.

I wish i could tell you how I feel
I wish i could tell that you're my need.

Theres nothing in this world you wouldn't do for me, but im afraid that same person i can never be.
Not because of any affection less, its just oblivion of future i guess.
You might think im crazy or high,
but in reality my helplessness makes me cry.

I was hurt and broke after what happened between us, but it was just too mean and unjust to have gotten between us.
But baby I forgave you a long long time ago, for I love you more than you'll ever know.
Why, you must think then im doing all this, why cannot i run back to you & give it another try, what do i get with all the pain & cry?
Lame you must think but as I said theres more to just you & me
I think strangers are what we were ultimately meant to be.

Just unfortunate I guess, for always having to live with the thought of
wishing I could tell you how I feel.
Of wishing i could tell that you're my need.
