(I wrote this piece when I was still in college (August 17,1999) while waiting for my professor. I wrote it in one of my books and just recently I was able to dig it up while scanning my old stuffs in school.)

I would have wanted
To be your princess

I miss him, his face
His scent, his laughter
His loud voice, his being gentle
His being he
...

How I wish I could see you once more
How I wish I could talk to you like before
How I wish you were here with me right now
How I wish you could ease the pain somehow

Am free again
Free from untruthfulness
Life has to go on
Nothing to moan
...

What if
Impugns my heart
Does it make sense at all
What if
...

Behind those brown eyes
Are sadness unfathomable
No one knows except her
Her pain excruciating
...

They say love is the greatest
Like when you feel it to the highest
Everything's cool, everything's happy
But when failures come
...

You're here again to disturb my peace
For I see your face
Not once, twice but countless times
Like a rugged mountain I wanted to climb

The radio is on,
Music is in the air but
I can't relate
What it brings

This is my reaction to the recent war between Gaza and Israel.

I was devastated of what I saw
Children, women, elderly people were crying and dying

Why you're here again
I don't know why really
You've been gone for years
You disapper without a trace

I found this piece on my notebook when I cleaned my closet. It's been a while that I did not bother to write a piece and post in here for some reasons I only know myself. This could be one way once again to get back on poetry. Hope you're still there to read my piece! ! ! !


I'm all alone this moment

When I go to bed
I soundly asleep as expected
Then a shadow from afar came
Perplexed of what I saw

Perhaps am on the verge
Of forgetting the heartache
I have been through
I need to move on

Following the need to take a break
My paces bring me to where I love the most
The beachwalk is still awesome, unexplainable
Under the brisking sun that's about to set

Everyone can see
The things happening in me
That was not used to be
