James Tyler Poems

Who is my father?
He’s a star in my life.
He keeps my in line,
And keeps me out of strife.
...

2.

The bright shining stars,
A twinkling hue.
These simple little dots,
Remind me of you.
...

I miss loving you
But that’s not really true
It never really stopped
It just sort of grew
...

4.

The breeze on my face,
And the sun on my skin
You know it’s a race
To be the first one in
...

I came to the kitchen
To get a quick drink
I opened the fridge
And paused there to think
...

She's trying to kill me
And the thought gives me fright
She throws me around
And straps me in tight
...

A blossom in cold winter’s night
My love for you is this
To wrap you in my arms so tight
And seal it with a kiss
...

Not knowing which feelings
I’m feeling the best
Not knowing which person
I’d choose from the rest
...

This feeling inside
I’ve felt it before
It’s one of a kind
I don’t want anymore
...

You’re hard as a rock
And smooth like glass
As tall as the trees
Yet small like the grass
...

11.

A shock of life
As he burst out the door
No sense of strife
And he’s begging for more
...

For mothers day this year,
I really wanted to make you cheer.
This is the result of all you do,
And never ceasing to make it through.

James Tyler Biography

Im generally a low-maintenance person, Im pretty easily amused/contented. All of my poetry is based around my life, or derived from it. I use my poetry as an outlet for my feelings. Sometimes it's sad, other times it's happy. Really the poems are a reflection of how I'm feeling at the time. PEACE! !)

The Best Poem Of James Tyler

Father's Day

Who is my father?
He’s a star in my life.
He keeps my in line,
And keeps me out of strife.

Who is my father?
He’s one hell of a stud.
He’s a chef of the BBQ,
And I’m one of his buds.

Who is my father?
He’s the all-star player,
He’s El Capitano,
And monster-under-the-bed slayer

Who is my father?
He tucks me in at night,
He reads me a story,
And we never fight

Who is my father?
He’s a mechanic of toys.
He’s there when I need him,
And I’m one of his boys.
