James Bateman Poems
I am tired, so tired my heart has been bled dry, I cannot handle any more… pain, happiness, sorrow, or love.
Tender love, lost, lost in time, lost in translation, lost with little hope

I am tired, so tired
my heart has been bled dry,
I cannot handle any more…
pain, happiness, sorrow, or love.
I don’t want reassurance,
I don’t crave kind words,
I don’t need a friend,
I won’t look for relief.
Too much, so much
much too much,
how can I be expected
to forgive/be forgiven
I am mad, I am blue,
I expected more, I deserved less,
I regret so much, I cannot forget,
Lost and alone…
And finding solace in it.
