The Homeless Flowers

Those homeless flowers lying nearby
They ask for life and opportunity,
Yet that seems long gone for them.
We - took it away.

We know they only want a drink of - water
We tell them it is there,
Yet that seems long gone for them.
We are giving them - nothing.

We walk passed those homeless flowers - every day.
Not knowing - what could have happened -
Only guessing - what might have been.

They need a drink of - water
That life and that opportunity - will come,
And we must be the ones to do - Everything -
To help.
