Jacquelyn Gagnon Poems

Lying with silent tears,
Attempting to hide my fears,
Sobs covered wit hdeep sighs,
I secretly dry my eyes,
...

how could i get jealous if i don't like him?
my mind splits in two
they make me happy yet i fear what will happen
this level of confusion is something new
...

you wont read this
you have no reason to
it was just a kiss
probably meant nothing to you
...

An engineer
drove a train
that thought it could
...

lucas lucas you are
so far from right
but ill write you this poem
to shed some light
...

It almost began without starting
Then you changed my mind
A whole new chapter of my life
A Unique Timeline
...

self restraint.
let the truth be told
my heart i crushed, soul i sold
all that's left: pure light, pure gold..
...

sitting in a room looking out the window
watching the clock,5 minutes to go
people chatting, pencils tapping
freezing cuz i can feel the wind blow
...

nothing. that's what i feel
nothing has happened, nothing seems real
i walk around aimlessly wondering what to do
how long have i been like this?
...

i was sharpening a knife
i could of took a life
yes that life would be mine
i'm not gonna lie
...

you told me you made up your mind
that you are leaving this place behind
you're packing your things today
and moving far, far away
...

what happens after you discover the reason you're happy is spite.
you fight the affliction of this contagious depression by doing all that is right.
it is an addiction this mental conviction of choosing night over day
but in this confusion you come to the conclusion that you'll find no joy either way.
...

it's so calm and cool
only the breath of the storm remains
The night is a photograph
of black and white, so still yet
...

who are you?
o one from my dream,
i saw in you,
what you saw in me.
...

Goodbye old friend
we knew it would end
signaled by true love
to never see you again

Missing You While You'Re Here

Lying with silent tears,
Attempting to hide my fears,
Sobs covered wit hdeep sighs,
I secretly dry my eyes,
Rolled over, I face him
He feels the tears on my skin,
'Oh no, I have been caught, '
But that was just what I thought,
Unaware of my lie,
I roll back out on my side,
but this was a mistake,
to show a smile that was fake,
my distress level grows,
Now it's clear that he knows,
He asks, 'Are you O.K.? '
No reply I turn away,
Covers blown, tears just flow,
Holds me close, never lets go,
I try hard to calm down,
'In a month we all leave town.'
'Summer's getting closer
the year is almost over.'
'Yes it's ending,
but it's not over,
you know I love you,
more than you'll ever.'
Won't let ten minutes pass,
Before having me in laughs.
This is why I love you,
My one and only Andrew.
