Hello; a simple word.
One word to start it all.
It's in the end, absurd.
It's dark reflection; our downfall.

A word just as easy to say,
But far harder to hear,
Whether it's night or day.
A sound accepted by the ear,

But by the mind, rejected.
A simple word to make me cry,
With the pain in your voice there, reflected.
One simple word to end it all; goodbye.
