To sing life's imperfect song,
For if us mortals love or sing,
It is what keeps us from our perfect dream

I watch as you cry, standing in the rain,
I don't know why, but it opens a window of pain,
I didn't care, I didn't know, I refused to think of tomorrow.
Until one day, when you had to go

In the woods, on a snowy night
With the snow falling down, casting an eerie light,
I saw a wishing well, right there standing all alone,
Though it was old, in my eyes it shone
