imti Longchar Poems

You remind me of my young summer days
Lolling in the meadows, side of town
Overlooking those far Blue Mountains
Endless stretches-it makes you want to fly
...

My spirit rises up from its day relapse
When a gentle voice rings into my senses
And unannounced, my mind will revive,
Though the day has worn me out;
...

It’s very easy to buy death here
And in more ways than one
No prejudice to your origin
Or your virtue, for that matter
...

You Remind Me Of...

You remind me of my young summer days
Lolling in the meadows, side of town
Overlooking those far Blue Mountains
Endless stretches-it makes you want to fly
Away and afar to see the mysteries beyond
You remind me-and I still yearn in reminiscence

You remind me of the first kiss I fumbled to try
One evening, end of the backyards
I thought her the only star of the sky then
Mystifying and all that a girl is suppose to be,
And I smile at the memory of even years gone
You remind me-and I can still feel her lips on mine

You remind me of how I should be happy years by
A garden and a desk to write
Green trees and an overlooking landscape
A porch and my love serving me tea early morning
You remind me of all good things imprinted ago
You remind me of all good things to met my way
