'After Twilight Comes The Day'

I was not this darkness before, the blood it drips by mine own hand, the shadows were drawn by the coal that burns of what once was. Sold I my soul unto myself, and darkness now is in the sky. Lakes be fire fast asleep, fire is water dancing high, here I stand and know not where, the sea, the sand, the flame the air. To every soul is giv'n a lamb, and mine is dead, I it did slay, and now no more can peace unto my young soul speak, now no more can comfort say, 'Close thine eyes my son and sleep, for after twilight comes the day.'
