A lover's bait in a tattered gown

The sky above turns everything brown

A great spectre awoke me today
The spirit of my mother's mother
She told me that my town was destroyed
Etched into the sea

Even she is lost in the adventure's lure
Even I would be unsafe and unsure
Through lost dreams and sullen hearts
She can drown our love apart
...

My pen swirled
and she fought it
My notebook twirled
and she knew it

Hollow winds around me roarin
Waters round me rise
I sit here my fate deploring
Tears swelling in my eyes

They hang motionless from the gallows
Pale bodies every one
...

I’m feelin sick
As I step out
