Although it sounds bizarre.
My mother calls it wood grain,
But I know what they are.

For years
I’ve been saying,

So much to see,
So much to learn,
Mountains to climb,
Corners to turn.
Strong I will stand,
When the wind rages,
For a heavenly Master,
Who writes my life's pages.
Someday I will find,
On this earth Another,
To him goes the gift,
Given to no other.
I will serve him,
All of my life,
and we'll serve God together,
as Husband and wife.
