The One And Only Judge

Wisdom and a test from God, they said!
Prophets and messengers get tested.
Be patient, have faith
Where is God? How can He let this happen to my child and I?
How come the innocent is convicted, tormented and with such nastiness depicted?
Prophets and messengers get tested, they said.
I am not a prophet, I am not a messenger
God, do you really exist?

I screamed and agonized.
Can you hear me God? I yelled.

This man raped my body but this Pinellas County Judge raped my soul.
The judge’s words were daggers pushing my very existence deeper and deeper into a really dark hole
He drove me to the abyss, not once did his daggers miss
I just kept falling and falling waiting to hit the endless bottom

Where is justice? I said. Does God even exist?
What kind of a test is this?
I am not a messenger or a prophet
What have I done to deserve this?

Wisdom and a test from God, they said!
I did not stop demanding
Where is justice? I said. Does God even exist?

Give me one sign I cried.
Yes, yes. God you do exist
The heartless judge, with Your Will I recused
His mouth uttered an initial refusal
But with Your greatness, seconds later the wretched old man granted me the recusal.

Glory to God and His justice
Yes God and His mercy do exist
Even if at times you doubt and want to resist
