Harith Turki Poems

I breathed the pain
Of that merciless night
When fate decided
To set us apart
...

When all else fails to recognize
What mine soul whispers
I sail away to the shore of oblivion
Only there I could hardly realize
...

In the dying hours
Of a desperate breath
A little dream is born
Of a cloudless night
...

So, we walked alone
In that starless night
When our forlorn shores
Have met in that sea
...

Memories taste so bitter,
When those with
whom we share
Are nowhere.
...

My world has fallen apart
When the birds of my night
Were caged by the sun
...

8
I sailed away from thy eyes
Thinking you could hide thy tears
Thinking I could release my sighs
...

Had you not been in my life
I would have drawn you
In the ink of my agony
I would have made you
...

I Breathed The Pain

I breathed the pain
Of that merciless night
When fate decided
To set us apart
The wind desperately tried
To erase my dying looks
At the footprints
Of your departing soul
Each print is intertwined
With a falling side
Of my celestial world
