Lemon Tree

Here is my lemon tree.

Strong, and laden with

fruit.



Here is my lemon tree

that has been hacked

within an inch of

its life, yet keeps coming

back, stronger and more

vibrant.



Here is my lemon tree

the only thing to survive

my complete garden

meltdown.



Here is my lemon tree

with its juicy, tangy

fruit

which we have preserved

in large jars in our pantry.



Here is my lemon tree

which one day will wither and die

as will I.
