I've been walking those streets where memories go
I've been walking those streets with nowhere to go
No matter how far they all lead back to you
No matter how far there's nothing I can do
Where did it go when our love died?
Where did it go no matter how I tried?
All those feelings that got locked up inside
All those feelings we had that you later denied
I've been thinking about love and thinking about you
I've been thinking about love and loving you true
You told me you cried the night our love died
You told me you cried or was that just a lie?
They say all it takes is time for a life to mend
They say all it takes but this pain will never end
I told you I loved you and would always be true
I told you I loved you even when you said we were through
