WITH HIS FRIENDS HE CAME

There's a Demon in my soul
Why I write he alone knows
I used to write for fun
And the flow would just come
...

where I try to hide from the monster that resides in my soul
In you I will confide, I sleep with my eyes open wide
I can't tell you how many tears I cried
How long my love has been denied
...

The flowers grow knee high
underneath my window in moonlight
Dreams dance all around my bed
in the darkness of the night
...

This old world is the devils playground
This is where the demon comes to play around

When in Hell he gets lonely and blue
...

The day I left home
The little angels left behind
I could not bring them with me
And I could not stay
...

Liquid depression how shall I compare thee
With the demons deep within my soul
You are not the only demon there,
I've many more, that you could not know
...

I remember those days
Walking around in a haze
Not knowing coming or going
Parties here and parties there all in fun
...

This old world is the Devils Playground
This is where the demon comes to play around

When it gets too hot in hell, The devil gets out
