Hi Just new today. I found this site whilst searching for a poem about Clotho, the youngest of the Fates. " Clotho Twine" by Giorgio Veneto drew me in instantly. I hope to share with, and be inspired by, all the wonderful poets here.

I also belong to Pink Poetry, and online community using poetry to support those touched with breast cancer.

Kindness to you All... Delta :)

    COME BACK TO ME.........

Memories of us linger as i am sitting here
In my thoughts you are so near
But when i open my eyes, the picture is clear
I aint got you, but that was one of my greatest fear.

I can´t stop thinking of you
Please come back to me cos my life was built round on you.
I dont want us to be through, please refrain my feelings from feeling blue
I fell in love with you and you did the same too
And for our love there is nothing we won´t do
So please come back to me for i need you more...........

Sons of Sea and Salty Air

    I saw a starlit melody
    in the sky,
    above the sea.
    The somber tune,
    from sunken graves,
    echoes up
    to reach for me.

The moon of voyages long past
    thunders 'round,
    this song comes last.
    when life is gone,
    and spirits pass.
    Hear their call,
    death's parting blast.

Poseidon's sons now rest in peace,
    moved only,
    by shifting tide.
    Their mortal lease,
    gone are they,
    beneath the beast.

    Good Afternoon,

I am a Young Poet who always appreciates critique, views and opinions on my poems. If time permits, take a look at some of my poems & tell me what you think.

Here is an example of what I do (Just started writing with no real Concept) :

Came on this forum, just to be noticed.
Acquired a Concept, that often is noted.
Turned into Poems, from a wondering mind.
With respect filled for Authors who also entwine....
Scriptures from precision of their vision to a living
Where a pen & intellect only caused friction
To contradictions of abyss where syllabus never fit
That explained every gesture you're soul had resist,
Took your mind from a furnace & reflected the serpent's long hiss
Cause this Concept so deep must be Heaven Sent

    Thank You***

    Dear poetesses, dear poets,

Passionate about the power of words, I offer a few poems (acrostics, rhymes or poems double without rhyme, haiku, poetic phrases in the morning or evening) which will be proposed at the whim of the seasons poetic.

Dancing with the words, sing the words, rhyming words, tell the words, read the words over the centuries in all media (books, computer, Iphone, mobile, television, reading e-book...) is a delight to share with other poets, poetesses of the universe. All these words that form stories, poems, novels, we relax since the dawn of time and allow us to escape for a few minutes of our daily problems.

Writing is a pleasure essential and must remain, forever, in our pretty blue planet.

I'm sure this gets quite annoying, but if you would, please view and comment on my newer poems. I am especially proud of Wind Dancer and Fate of a Writer, if you would only look at those two.

    I hope you enjoy.

Also, I am not afraid of constructive criticism.
