The Tallest Elf?
Don't let this take you by surprise,
Don't let him make you think he's shy.
He's very smart and just as wise,
His tail's as long as he is high.
I wondered if it was a dream to think this up.
I realized that it wasn't reality anyways, so how could I?
He peered down at me from seven feet,
And I looked back up at him.
I wondered if there was a way to cheat,
Being as tall as a higher limb.
This isn't really fair, is it?
I mean, an elf being taller than me?
His tail twitched and he smiled sweet,
As I just stood and stared.
" Are you wondering 'bout such a feat?"
I frowned, " As if I cared! "
Now I'm quick to anger when I don't understand.
Bear with me friends.
He just looked quietly and swung his tail,
The tassle looked frayed like a rope.
I decided to walk away from my fail,
My frustration making me mope.
Never wonder things of fantasy.
You'll get nowhere if you're anything like me.
This is just a quick, silly poem, put up for the enjoyment of others. I really hope you like it!
