Is this forum a lil bit risky? What if i submit my poem then the site will only jusy use the poem i send? You know, stealing others ideas. How will i know if the site or the contest is real?

    I agree with that, I myself have a difficult time telling what contests, sites etc are phony and what ones are real.I guess you just have to trust that whatever contest you choose isnt going to steal your work, maybe contact the manager first, see if they reply. At least our getting your work out there and its not just sitting in a book, where only you can read it. And hey I guess if they steal it, its positive feedback and unlike the person who stole it, you can always write more.
