    fuel

to fuel the soul I feed the fire
that haunts the heart passion, desire
a meal of words that means not
but still they come and there they rot
    open up, share their meaning
hold them up if they be worth eating
its a sight we must prepare
To grow the mind and starve thy ear
speak then loud, do not shy
do words belong yell them to the sky
for hopes in sorrow someone shall echo in reply
a comment you lack a new food to try
and you sent a different back

I comment on poems. So if you would like to know what i think about one of your poems then send me the title. I'll read it and comment. Im on Monday-Friday from 9-11am. This is in the United States. Eastern standard time. A few things to remember though... I enjoy reading poems that rhyme, it's like candy to my mind. ALSO, dont't forget, a good poet takes criticism into consideration.

    The Past
I remember when you gave me “three red roses”,
    The roses meant of love.
I remember the song you sang for me,
    A song made me yours.
I remember the last time you laugh,
    Laughter marked in my heart.

It was love that made me everything,
The love and honor I recall.
I keep you close to my heart,
Knowing that one day we’re becomes one.
But once I closed my eyes,
    Everything was paid away.

A letter you wrote telling “goodbye”,
    Break my heart apart.
I cry to heal the pain I feel,
    Cry so painful and sad.
I wish I could change everything,
The past you and I know.
