    JC's right about poetry often, I give him that. We agree a lot. The rub with me is, I just don't believe, he himself, writes poetry; some of his ideas about poetry (any writing is a poem if its broken into lines) are ludicrous, and his own work frankly doesn't justify his great stridence. But you have to learn to ignore him. Think of him as a crazy old uncle whose heart is basically in the right place, even if sometimes you feel like slipping hemlock into his Geritol. -LP

      I'd say that sums it up. Most poets, to some degree, are embittered due to being passionate about an artform that has few lovers, outside of the practitioners themselves. Add to that, seeing lesser pr ... more
