Anyone have any feelings one way or the other?I whittled it down as far as I could go. Jeff, I got your 'stench' in there(sort of) . I kind of like the title.

    Hopper Apartment.

    Lit by chance: fractured noon.
    Stunned to be sentient.
    The room conjures smoke,
    a spareness, impenetrable;
    empty air grows like blurred
    neck; aces.
    I remembered your stance;
    I worshipped your skirt,
    lazily, on the heartwood floors.

      Ha! Love it! You are a fiend, you know that? The " aces" makes it. That is so cool. I love poetry! I love the way you guys punctuate your poems. So unique. So fun to read too!
