Is all we get
He is perplexed by himself
Scared of the divergence of an opposite

Go deny it to yourself
Go blame it on the wind
Go tell it to the cat
Go let the blade win

Listen close and I'll tell you a story
of an artist who forgot
He paved his way through trechorous streets
not knowing what he sought.

Sun Kissed

We have the windows open,
Tint over our eyes
Glaring at the sunset
That couldn’t tempt us if it tried
The breeze tangles our hair
As we tap our toes
To forgotten love, damaged hearts
Exaggerated sex and lost souls
The sun will depress into the mountains
Of some far off place
So we’ll step on the gas and
Challenge the sun to another race
Of course it will win
So we’ll settle in a lover’s tryst
At the top of a mountain
Our infinite abyss
Climbing into the backseat
Our fingers intertwine
My heart in yours
Your heart in mine
The moon will whisper
While peaking from above
As our hands tremble slightly
“Fear is the heart of love”
