She stooped and gave her two filia
I heard the sadness in her voice
Her heart no longer could rejoice

A haven lush and green
Amid the dusty dry fields
With shade from summer sun
A rustic peaceful scene

I think I have the flu
I have this constant cough
I need a lemon brew
I certainly feel off
...

A perfect sphere, a perfect globe
With tough and orange skin
Which covers like an outer robe
Refreshing juice that is within.

There was a time when youth was mine,
When I had sparkle in my eyes
And life, oh life was so much fun,
And you and I and all did shine.

I took a train and travelled to the past.
It sped along the iron track in haste.
The images I saw were played too fast
And on and on the locomotive raced.

I love my room
Its welcome gloom
Its solitude
Its attitude
...

They rage within my brain
Emotions wild and deep
At times they cause me pain
Exhausting me to sleep
...

Do you remember how we used to play
In cobbled streets where cars were seldom seen?
On sunny days we'd get the train away
And swap the urban grey for country green.

I want the night to end
Let Dawn awake and rise
I want the sun to send
Its light to greet my eyes
