The Devils

All around they came to see, the devils that would never be.
They looked, they laughed, they mocked.
Those around them had forgotten to fear the dark.

A woman all alone, a man that none bid to see.
She, a cruel woman that steals men's hearts.
He, the evil that none should ever know.

Together - destroyed, separated - a curse.
The world could not kill them,
And neither can you.

A evil hunger is within, but beauty is seen.
They come to the calling of power and innocence,
Heed the call of the loveliest raven.

They are coming for you, for they know you're afraid.
They know all your desires, and have seen all your dreams.
Defeat yourself, only then will you be freed.

Their power is death disguised as life-giving.
Look all around to see the signs of decay.
For when the flowers don't bloom and birds don't chirp, they have come to destroy you all.

But don't cry, don't weep, better to die then live with their pain,
And don't love, don't care, to them it's a sin.
Just know that they are coming, and neither heaven nor hell will stop them now.

Soon to die, a pity, and a tear should be shed
But none shall dare care for your death
Or soon they too will be put in a grave.
