Durga Patva Biography

Durga Patva hails from Farrukhabad, Distt. UP India. Having done her M. Phil. from CSJM university Kanpur, she is now Persuing a Ph D from Lucknow University. She is fond of writing poems and short stories and is also trying her hand at writing a Novel. Two of her poems have been published in the anthology- " World Anthology of English Poetry " published by Creative Impulse. Her other poems came into vague with the publication of, " Whisperers Winds International Anthology of Poetry " a product of Creative Impulse. one of poems found place in other published Anthology, " I Am A Woman." Her two poems have been selected for the International Anthology " A Divine Madness An Anthology of Modern Love Poetry " published by Ardus Publication.)

Have You Seen God Anywhere?

Have you seen God anywhere?
Have you faith in His power?
Have you realised His presence everywhere?
It takes no great labour.
Come let's have a glimpse of pious journey;
lead us into the lap of God.

He such a creator;
no one can be a good orator,
creates awesome things,
cannot make king of kings,
they give us perennial ecstasy,
full of real fantasy.


He, always with us in the form of
standing high hills, mountains,
breathing into everlasting wind
swimming into endless flowing rivers,
swinging on the branches of incessant growing trees,
smiling through the sweet fragrance of enthusiastic flowers,
blessing us through the sun, moon and stars,
shadowing us through sun shine, moonlit and winking stars.


He has the power to make,
wind blow
water flow
birds sing
sea waves dance
flowers bloom
leaves move
fruits ripe
men act.

sweet blowing wind
drizzling and bubbling of water,
rustling of leaves
chirping of birds
All these, make a celestial and spiritual song,
giving a message,


No one can create natural source,
No one can stop natural rules by force,
except God,
He is the inspirator of all our acts,
The whole cosmos is the Glory of My Lord.
