Dillon Crawford Poems

Sorrow;
A pain you never forget.
Sorrow;
Life's true regret.
...

Sorrow, sorrow why must you take me so
Why have you left me in such a big hole
Sorrow, sorrow when will you leave my soul
And let me finally breath so
...

I had to do a project on Hiroshima for school and I came across a poem about helping the victims at Hiroshima. That one poem inspired me to go and write this about a victim of Hiroshima.
P.S. For those of you who don't know the Enola gay was the plane that bombed Hiroshima

In solitude I walk

Ive seen so many thing about racism on the T.V and in the newspaper, I thought I would write about it. This is the poem that flowed so freely from my hands

I walk down the street
There is no one I can meet
...

A father and a son,

Never so close,
...

My limerick does not have a rhyme
But I shall make one in due time
It could be about a bat
Who once ate a cat.
...

As you may notice I took the last line from my Mentor Bob Marley.

Perseverance
What would you run for?
...

I know not of the word of moderation
For when I start it will take up my full duration.
For I am as strong as my army
1000 man strong yet as quietly
...

I regret to have known you
I regret to still see you
I regret my decision
But you cut me deep
...

This life you give to me.
Oh why must it be.
It rots in the sun,
And wont stop till its done.

Im lost in a sea of hate,
A sea of frauds, mistrust and lies
Im lost in such a crowed place
I start to wonder if I will ever get out
...

Everyone be screaming about their dream,
Dream of peace, dream of freedom
Well I say f*** that sh*t,
For this sh*t is coming now.

I am looking down through glass mirrors and shards
shards of what could and would have been a better life
As a kid I used to play with mirrors trying to get that infinite reflection
But now I only wish i cold pull them apart
...

You speak to me of your pain
Of a broken heart
You speak to me as if your all there is
As if I know not of pain
...

What can you do
When the darkness no longer stays at bay
What can you do when it tries to do more then take the light
Your life has already been blinded of all possible light
...

The bottle, the pills, the pain and the joy
People talk about the ways to fall asleep
Asleep to that dream land
Where the bottles pills pain and joy, all coincide
...

This silence that always awaits for me
I turn for help, yet no one is there.
I look right, left and right again hoping;
Hoping someone might jump out that this will be over;
...

I put my life in, Heart and soul.
I ask for naught,
Unless I really need it.
For I know

19.

Falls without resistance,
No one can tell it where to go.
Never quite wanted,
yet needed when its gone.
...

You thought you had it all
The friends, the money
There wasn’t anything you couldn’t have

The Best Poem Of Dillon Crawford

Sorrow

Sorrow;
A pain you never forget.
Sorrow;
Life's true regret.
Sorrow;
An endless demon who will never quit
Sorrow;
The rock in the path
Sorrow;
My life's lonely tale.
