Infinite Black

Amidst the draining black water of sewer lines
And the marching black gold of pipelines
Are pitch black tresses, oiled and delicately-combed
Where henna-lit palms bridge Abraham's children
In a colorblind refugee camp - no barbwire between olive and pale
Yet the gunpowder residue levitates on Nimbus skies
Clouds packed with jet black rain
As innocence play on between walls with charcoal graffiti
Amidst the litter of graphite pencils
