Where the demons laugh and the angels cry
A place beasts and monsters holler and shriek
Down in the deep where shallow devils lie
Where the bitterest horrors are made weak
Screams echo round walls made of burning coals
In a world made of ebony and bone
Ceilings made of phantoms and sorry souls
Where pleasant people run lost and alone
But up where the streets are paved in gold
Where there's sapphire skies and abstract clouds
Souls are loving and will never grow old
Joy and cheers sound loud in the blessed crowds
Blissful souls pass through the enchanting door
Where the angles laugh and the demons roar
