I see a seagull
In the gulf
Then engulfed for
A minute or two -

Time is just a waiting...,
Without much to fill it -
Just a ticking
Away, like a clock's tick.

The jarring sound left me as a jar head in the midst of war -
in a gulf that's so abyss - I can't phantom where I am.
The silence that followed swallowed me whole in the abyss
Hole. Leaving me alone to ponder how alone I am.

Your apple shaped face ripens my day.
A beautiful statue you are before me -
With all the meticulous carvings of
Perfection. Here for all to see.

A bright day with sun fully exposed,
Melodic birds on branches hovering
Molten streets. Below is the smell of
Satan's pavement with vertical lines.

You turn me on like an off switch
Or an inactive apparatus that has
Been left in a pile of rubbish. I
Was in a deep sleep, a coma state.

Life is an upsidedown cake. We awake with closed eyes.
We spend our time inside our own minds, in disguise.
We go with the time - following a natural order, clockwise.
We welcome orders without wisdom. Automaticity and

Dormant is the room and everything lay where it may.
Things, stuff, devices and contraptions all placed at will.
No grand jury needed to decide placement or faith.
The outcome is indubitably rested on the shoulders of Jill.

They sit there side-by-side with uncanny glares.
The temperature in the studio has risen from emotional flares.
Awkward silence is ambient inside. Drops of rain are present outside.
They remain idle inside. Their stares fixed on the lively outside.

I'm getting the hell out of dodge!
How about I drive you there?
No! I'm serious!
Who is he?

A voiceless mouth
Isn't like a desertious drought.
Instead it goes untold
Like a breathe old.

The pain in my chest won't rest
Like the knock from my landlord.
It is relentless. Shipmen release
Their sails for endless journeys.

The Best Poem Of Demontray Lockhart

I Am Alive

I see a seagull
In the gulf
Then engulfed for
A minute or two -
To emerge as victor.
Beak upright and tight,
Breaking the hard surface,
I stare at it,
As its head and body becomes
Restored in my mind.

I don't mind the angry sun
Or the quiet and loneliness
That surrounds me.
I don't mind the long and harsh
Day that has baked and bated me.
I don't mind it at all.

Now that I sit in this skiff
In this sea,
Seeing life lifted
Wing by Wing
I am restored,
Spirit by spirit.
Until
I am - too - alive.
