The Wrong Door

I went into the room
Looking for my cello
I thought it was
The door that was yellow

Turns out it was wrong
I thought I was keen
But then I realized
It was the door that is green

It still was wrong
And I thought I knew
And then I thought
It was the door that was blue

It wasn't there
It had to be in one door
But then I saw
It was on the floor

I felt so wrong
I felt so dumb
It just was good
I didn't suck my thumb
