Dante Pellegrino Poems

Great power comes to a man and cause,
whence the jagged edge of ice thaws
with his teachers truth of words he teaches,
then for a glass of jowl he reaches
...

Hidden beneath soft wooden floor boards
of men and women in relationships spoken for tell they're tales of romance and physical attraction
With they're playing hands, intertwined with fate
reaching far, imaginations run wild

My thoughts of you are pure as sin
since the beginning a fool
may you be my final commitment

The Bolt

Great power comes to a man and cause,
whence the jagged edge of ice thaws
with his teachers truth of words he teaches,
then for a glass of jowl he reaches
If thou does not harness the light in it's sacred path,
a lead toe stands in the way of its streaking wrath
so fall not far from the heels of weakness nod,
but rather a plateau of the Olympus lighting rod
and when the lonely road he walks is faire,
its wheels made of gold and silver bare
I call upon, oh hear the mighty light,
crashing down through cloud and knight
from air and spirit we captured hold,
the name in the sky we see three fold
though the many flights of raven fludder,
with a heart of stone does poor willy studder
and although in haste ol wolve face grimm,
in turn they steed for the light points scrim
If I am found to be as worthy and strong,
as the light prevails, and to me it belongs
