Lucifer

When you looked at me,
beauty is what you saw
Covered in every precious stone,
reflecting the very power that was privileged to me
Pendants and jewels of gold,
an image of excellence
Flawless, just as the rest,
but still dominant
The Anointed Cherub,
given power and authority
Having everything,
but still wanting more
Perfect until iniquity was found within me,
putting myself before the Almighty
Defiling His throne,
seeking His power
Filled with jealousy and envy,
I was cast down
