Dan Brown Poems

1.

Lost in a world, that scares me to death,
Lost in a crowd, I'm losing my breath.
Lost as a boy, lost as a man,
I need to grow up, don't think I can.
...

It isn’t brave, and it isn’t clever,
to inflict pain on other people forever.
Life isn’t all about you.
Your life isn’t all about you.
...

My name is Dan, and because of you,
I walk with my head down, ashamed to look people in the eye.
My name is Dan, and because of you,
I cannot be free to be who I am, and every time I have to lie.
...

4.

Your mind thinks as it should,
And your mouth says as it should.
The words are right, your eyes are bright,
And there’s a smile across your face.
...

5.

A is for ache, the ache of my heart.
A is for absurd, which we were from the start.
A is for apologetic, I am I swear.
A is for affection, that will always be there.
...

6.

What do you see
when you look at me?
A disgusting, sinful boy?
Or a suitably convenient decoy?
...

This is a message to say
I still cry every day.
I think of you,
What we went through.
...

If this is a game of hide and seek,
I’m over here.
If this is a fairground ride,
I want to get off.
...

9.

My friends.
Where are you?
I want you.
...

Love plays games.
Games so complex that it
ends up contorted,
twisted, torn and distorted,
...

My shadows.
Anonymous darkness stalking me,
occasionally revealing themselves
to be not so anonymous.
...

We rise together, up into the sky,
We join together, watch the world pass by.

We are together, together as a cloud,
...

When I
Die, I
want to be buried in a
margarine tub.
...

A take on love is something unique -
it depends on a person and what they seek.
What they put in is what they'll get out,
but does anyone know what love is about?
...

I don’t know where you came from,
or, indeed, where you’ve been.
But the shimmering aura around you,
is the light I believe I’ve seen.
...

I’m awash with a million kisses,
as we tumble into bed.
The most special of them all, though,
is the one you plant on my forehead.
...

Its there.
So close you can almost
touch it.
You can smell it and almost
...

I am trapped in the bramble bush,
ripped open by savage thorns,
exposing my dirty innards.
I flap hauntingly in the evening breeze,
...

I started from a little seed,
Brought about by nature’s greed.
Now I sit, watch the world go by,
But which sad figure am I?

The Best Poem Of Dan Brown

Lost

Lost in a world, that scares me to death,
Lost in a crowd, I'm losing my breath.
Lost as a boy, lost as a man,
I need to grow up, don't think I can.

Lost as a person, can't find my way.
Lost in life, every day.
Lost in worry, who am I?
All my life, I've lived a lie.

Lost to kindness, lost to love,
Lost in a sky, like a new-born dove.
Lost in thought, which I shouldn't do,
It winds me up, I can't get through.

Lost to comfort, all kind words,
Lost to advice, it isn't heard.
Lost to those who really care,
All these people, always there.

Lost in me, I need a break,
Lost in wonder, which road to take?
Lost in a place I don't know well,
Where are you now? There's no one to tell.

Lost here, all alone,
Lost apart from the mobile phone.
Lost still, there are no calls.
I'm struggling alone, to break these walls.

Lost in mind, lost in soul,
Lost memories, they're just a hole.
Lost family, lost mate,
Gone now, yet I'm full of hate.

Lost in a straight world, and I am gay,
Lost now, for what to say,
Lost in boredom, think I'll leave.
There's a lot in life I need to achieve.

whatever you encounter on your path, Dan, i sincerely hope you find peace within yourself. Once you find that peace, people will identify that, gravitate toward it, and grow from your example. Jake

Tell u what, I know you probably won't want me to comment since I'm a female but ok, just a short one. I've read some of your poetry and I thought that you have great potential and I love the fact that you celebrate your life by writing. You have a wonderful personality, as shown in the poetry you write and I certainly look forward to more of them. By the way, I am currently studying literature for the 1st year but I'm already in love with it.

Your bio. is very interesting Dan. Being a parent (my oldest it one year younger than you) I really empathize with your situation. Life must be challenging right now for you and your parents. (It really is difficult when we feel our kids are entering a life that we know will be so much more difficult for them) ....even though I know...it's not a choice. Good luck to you Dan. I hope life starts looking up for you! You've been through so much already, it can only look up from here right? Take care. Sincerely, Mary
