And the use of canines for fun must cease!

When friendship's bond is broken, it is so hard to mend
For careless words once said may create hurts that send
Years of fine togetherness and harmony down the drain
Like a vase that had fallen, though repaired, the cracks remain.

How many are diverted?
How many get deceived?
They need to be converted
To God truly believe.

Mansions
Hallow abode
A worthless edifice
Without the light of Love and peace

Rushing waves on shores
Caress the rocks in freedom
Moon tides soon to come.

This heart aches to be with you
How it wished that all the miles
Would just fade out into the blue
And it would be with you all the while

Echoes from the past may sometimes linger
When the night is darkest and most silent,
Fragments of bitter images, a reminder
Hidden sorrows refrain a lament.

When I was young and in my prime
I was just an ugly duckling.
I'd stay at home and spend my time
With poetry and my sewing.
