Every dispute or argument that may come his way.
Speaking one's mind is a freedom we've seen
But it's the Kindness in our hearts, that's the giveaway.

The soothing scent of pine trees
Brings those lovely memories,
As I close my eyes I'm back there
Amidst the sound of childhood laughter.

There is a final analysis and this we must not forget
When all is weighed, exposed and seen after our moment of Death,
And there we face the Truth of all our words and deeds today
Seen in the searing light of what the Word of God does say.

Like the surge of rolling waves rushing in
Laughter moves with unexpected urgency
Lithe and spontanously, it flows sweeping
Loosens up the pouting lips to a roar that's free

No feel-good poetry to grace your eyes
Just cutting honest words aimed here to slice
Bloated egos and self-exalting platitudes
Vexations that expose a vicious attitude.

Consumes
Will not let go
Sorrow grips the heart

Ambivalence is never really knowing which way to go
Accumbent on a circle of thoughts that may never show
A definite choice that is clear-cut, precise and so-
Always on the sway, it goes where waves or winds blow

Dancing blithely under the sun's embracing rays
Damsels of the floral charms of Mother Nature,
Delightful sights that grace our sometimes burdened days
Display their colors like little ladies so demure.
