Cristina Ventura Poems

So vivid it bleeds with the element that feeds it

So black it causes the darkest depths of the ocean to shudder
...

I don’t think I can tell you that I love you,
Although I am fairly certain I do
I don’t know why but I don’t want to stop,
Because if I did

The crows are singing
Nails on a chalkboard,
Hair saluting
Follicular chills.
...

I think and think and watch my brain burst
The pieces fall gently to the ground as time seems to proceed at half the speed
Fragments of grey matter are spewed in every which way
My thoughts like competitors in a race with individualized finish lines

And when I do fall from broken grace

I will fall, I will fall

And all the sudden the little things don’t matter
It’s like I have surfaced from a life underwater
A magnificent metamorphosis of person
Like someone has lifted the grand obscuring curtain
...

The intensity of my emotions seems to engulf me
I am lost, lost in a jungle of savage beasts
They know no limits, they have no boundaries;

The Best Poem Of Cristina Ventura

Purple Pansy

So vivid it bleeds with the element that feeds it

So black it causes the darkest depths of the ocean to shudder

So toxic it burns all as it flows

So cancerous it chokes all as it grows

Purple pansy, purple pansy

How you dance in the shadows

Acid flower, acid flower

How you create to dispose

Noxious weed, noxious weed

How you warp and oppose

An embodiment of innocence expired to corpse

A delicate floret rooted in alkaloid tainted soil

A sparkling jewel with alluring lust

And all it touches reduced to dust
