Moving On..

An eternal fire
When it boils down to the wire
you are the one who inspire(s)
An animalistic rage
That's got me trapped in a cage
Wishing I could unwrite this page
But its a closed chapter
My heart's about to rapture
Plotting
scheming
Thirsting for revenge
You planted a seed of hate
That grows at an alarming rate
Inside of me
I don't like what I see
My own reflection is a stranger
Every chance she gets she flirts with danger
Rejects every platform to reform
Even though she despises what she's become
A rebel without a cause
Dark circles under my eyes
A sign of the stains of pain I've had to face
the heavy burdens I've had to brace
Still praying for God's grace
Lord, take all the hurt away
Help me find my way
A path
A path to transformation
I've done a lot of self reflection
and now I seek redemption
