Chunlou Yung Poems

The night is dreary when you not near me.
The stars gain colder when you off afar.
The moon grew paler when I looked lately.
But your heart is chiller, for it beats no longer.
...

Moonlight, you spread your silvers onto us
And lead us to dreams by your soft whispers--
Unspoken whispers--that's heard by the hearts--
Poetic hearts--love-searching and tender.
...

Sleep, sleep, sweet baby, don't you need worries.
It is well with me--I listen to your pledge--
You said you could rest if I would not weep--
For you I wept, for you I stop my griefs...

Evening Melody...

The night is dreary when you not near me.
The stars gain colder when you off afar.
The moon grew paler when I looked lately.
But your heart is chiller, for it beats no longer.
My Queen-Moon of the heart, my guiding Star,
You are my sweet memories from afar--
So sweet, so deep, it aches my heart, my soul,
For I cannot see you till I your sleep follow.
So, sleep deeply, sweet baby, sleep softly,
No man can now stir your eternal eve.
Dream, Darling, if you will--Rest, if you wish,
No man can now wake you from your eternal sleep.
And I myself shall wait here patiently
Till later life when love does mean Eternity.

Chunlou Young is quite a good writer in poetry, I thought he has learned some importance in his class, whic I liked but no change for myself in youth. I would go to learn more in the English literature if I could. I am too old for to learn it now. Learn hard and write more, young man!
