So tempting yet intoxicating
It’s the needle that causes my pain
Your venom is the deadly substance that flows within my veins
Eventually reaching towards my heart
It will suffocate all my words and thoughts
As I lye resting, waiting my inevitable ending
I think to myself was all worth pretending
Pretending to be someone who I’m not
Just to get close to that one special person I’ve sought
Everything I try do will never please you
So why even try in the first place?
