Chris Tasie Poems

Oozing from the mouth of a 'beggar'
'One day 'e go better''
But we run helter skelter
What a prolonged siesta.
...

Oh, what a feeling
Hosting her in my arms once again
An illusory chance to fulfill my vows
Make her a spouse
...

Imagine the stair we climb in as peers
Some couple of years
Together we bear
In pains and tears
...

I know we would be blown
But to a place yet unknown
Either together, to our dream land
Where our whisper'll sound like band
...

When you were born by a previous miss
I was told if I walk your ways
You'd hurt my pregnant miss
And cut short her days
...

Sorry I popped my face
That faateful day
And danced a steady race
Via your pretty way
...

Mama teaches
Like bird, it flies
With my infant sharp eyes
I looked but find none in the skies
...

Often mama say they either make or mar
Good number of them I have
Each with distinctive qualities
Dazzling like priceless diamonds
...

Friend, cry nomore
Surrender the battle today
You had been told before
Tears never win the battle any day
...

You'd write me down
On the four walls in town
Perhaps with indellible ink
And on every signpost, I think
...

My heart roars like the sea
When conscious of where you kept me
How long will I lie so low in this hollow
My tears flow and you follow
...

It seems like a dream
Octobeer 4th is no more a film
Batallion corpers I see
All belonging to Batch C
...

Courage is sick; asleep
As the pains creep deep
Too tired and weak
I, a love freak?
...

We travel different flank
Eyes closed, thoughts blank
Only spirit and dreams
Have iota idea of the journey glimpse
...

The indispensable dome and home alike
My presumed home - the shield of Nike
So strong and gigantic
Ship of history like the Titanic
...

Teach me not to be 'strong'
I was born a soft tongue
A dove heart; fragile one
Teach me not under the sun
...

Leave me
Sorry I can go further anymore
Leave me that I may go and mourn
For I couldn't but fall these walls once more
...

To my love,
My life,
But now, my Ex.
...

A thief in broad day light
Wearing canal powers too strong to fight
Her style, many dudes deem right
...

20.

Yesterday we said 'hi'
Promised never to say 'bye'
They were moments so fine
Like the taste of cream pie
...

The Best Poem Of Chris Tasie

One Day 'E Go Better'

Oozing from the mouth of a 'beggar'
'One day 'e go better''
But we run helter skelter
What a prolonged siesta.

Even tomorrow promises hotter
For our youths seem not better
How shall we stop being beggars
When only 'the few' share our buggars

Entrusted with our needs
With just a quid, they toy with us like kids
Imagine their golden beads
Million people a life time, it can feed

What can they offer but a legacy of greed
Profusely my eyes bleed
To see the society rearing the same breed
One day 'e go better' indeed'!

As taught by the creed
For divine intervention I'd plead
Knowing that except He leads
In vain the leaders lead
