Brynn Bettin Poems

The tree of light
Lonely in the dark
Bringing gifts of joy
To all who can ignore
...

One white voice in a field
Wandering towards eternal fate
Staring into the sun of late
Walking towards the last meal
...

If life is the key and death is the door
then lead me to life so I can see more
If death is the door then don't let me see
for there might be a trick or a bug or a bee
...

There comes a deep feeling which most try to hide
Not wear it out there with hope and pride
The feeling of happiness, friendliness and care
All mixed in one with nothing to spare
...

I once met a girl
She looked like a pearl
All covered in beauty and style
I still remember the last time I felt
...

The worst thing in life is saying goodbye
When you are leaving and i don’t know why
The world stops to turn and my eyes start to cry
Whenever I go to say goodbye
...

7.

The mountain is cold
The summer so sweet
The frozen glades of winter seep
But down in the valley
...

There once lived a monster so hideous and cruel
It stayed down and hid to produce its gruel
And late out at night it will come out and say
All the horrible things its mouth could relay
...

Dark and twisted the hallway churns
As demons reap the land of its fate
As the chalice of faith lie dead into hate
The people go on to the palace to wait
...

There never has been
True feelings within
That struck my heart
Till that camp in the dark
...

In the darkest of times
No man can hide
From the smallest light
That comes forth through the night
...

There once was a man who lived on a hill
The world for him always seemed to stand still
For the time he spend alone in a chill
The demon crept along for the kill
...

There is a place where we all go
To vanquish every whim and woe
To the forest we must take
The key that opens heaven’s gate
...

In the desert a lone man cries
His friend in hand with burrowed eyes
He lifts him up to take within
The deepest sorrow of his whim
...

People running
Women screaming
Children yelling
Disaster
...

16.

Child chant of thunder
Mother cry of power
Men drunk of iron
Frantic knife of diamond
...

The Best Poem Of Brynn Bettin

The Path Less Travelled

The tree of light
Lonely in the dark
Bringing gifts of joy
To all who can ignore
The way to the dark
And perils of night
For as the journey ends
The daylight sets the light
