She really never chose me as a friend.
At least not to my knowledge publicly,
(‘Or any other, ' she once claimed to me) .
Her photo album empty but for those
...

For all that I know, you still really love me,
For all that I know, you may really care,
This could be a test, do I really love you,
Maybe you're doubting that you have a prayer?
...

My dear sweet friend, forever love,
My angel in this earthy frame,
Every breath I take is a prayer
Of thanks to God
...

I seek not to possess,
But only to belong,
My dream is not to sing
But only write the song.

I'm standing behind you.
Lips next to your ear,
My breath softly saying
All you long to hear.

She sat in her chair unattended,
Her eyes moist with knowledge of that,
For earlier smiles had offended,
And so, thus discouraged, she sat.

Do you prove you're a whore or more sell yourself short
When you say, "I'm a Christian! I'm Right! I am SAVED! "
Is there 'FAITH' in this statement? Don't whores know they sin?
Don't most alcohol addicts confess they're not strong

I have had to block rating of many of my poems on PoemHunter because of weaknesses in PH software that allow malicious people to give an author's most successful poems a low rating by using multiple memberships in PoemHunter to give a target poem many votes of 1.0. Indeed Merov Tac, a banned PH former member, has already done so on this poem under a new false identity, so I have blocked voting on it in the normal way.
