Billie Jeanne James Poems

I believe in rainbows and golden sunbeams
i believe in hopes and dreams
i believe in that old fable always told of old
That at the rainbows end there's a pot of gold
...

Others may seek fortune and fame
But i shall not seek to claim
Fortune and fame
Rather i'll seek just a good name
...

Give the Children a better chance
Let them learn to sing and dance
Let them laugh and run to play
Dare to dream of a brighter day
...

Still thy rising voice the angry vicious word of hate
That seal the innocent victims fate
Still thy hand of violence against thy neighbors head
That fills an innocent heart with fearfull dread
...

I Believe In Miracles

I believe in rainbows and golden sunbeams
i believe in hopes and dreams
i believe in that old fable always told of old
That at the rainbows end there's a pot of gold
i believe there's some place beyond the blue
Where the promise of Love and Peace is forever true
i believe in me and you
i believe in miracles, for i have known a few
i believe in me and you
i believe in miracles, for i have known a few
i believe in me and you

Dear Heidi Smith those who live in glass houses should not throw stones, you should not judge people until you are righteous enough to do so, how about we leave the judging of my mother to her maker and the judging of you to yours?

I am trying to contact Billie Jeanne James... If anyone can provide me with her email address, please do so - I want to set the poem 'still the raging river' to music (SATB choir) , and need to check that this OK with her! Many thanks, Alise Mattar. (alisemattar@hotmail.com)
