Seid umschlungen Millionen,
wir erobern die Welt.
und zu Hause gibt's Bohnen
und Kartoffeln, gepellt.
Den Gurt enger schnallen
noch mehr Opfer bringen
eure Soehne gefallen
soll das Deutschlandlied klingen.
Wir zerschlagen den Polen
und die Russen, die Schweine
schaut auf die Mongolen
es sind lauter Gebeine.
Seid umschlungen, Millionen
Euer Fuehrer's Sieg Heil
gibt euch wuerdige Kronen
von der Welt einen Teil.
Hoch die Fahne zum Toeten
und wir rotten sie aus
toenen unsere Floeten
fuer den Leichenschmaus.
Be embraced, millions,
we shall conquer
the world.
At home there are beans
to eat, and potatoes,
steamed,
Tighten your belts,
sacrifice ever more,
your sons fell
in our struggle.
The German National Anthem,
may it fill the air.
We shall smash
the Poles, the Russians,
those pigs.
Look at those Mongols,
nothing more than skeletal remains.
Be embraced, millions,
your Fuehrer's Sieg Heil
places noble crowns upon
your heads,
it is our world.
Let us raise our flag to the killing fields
where we shall
exterminate,
and our flutes
will be heard
for the feast of our wake.
Note:
It has been brought to my attention
that at least one person has misunderstood
the intent of this poem. Although I did not think
this would be possible.
The words of the English version are taken from the last
days of the war when Hitler mercilessly shamed and cajoled
the people into giving their last, promising them the great victory
and the killing of the enemy in droves. The facts of the war are well known, of course and this note was only written for those who
may or may want to misunderstand my message.
