Ayesha Riaz Poems

I am isolated in this isolation,
In this dark cell,
With darkness darkening me every second,
I am isolated in this isolation,
...

If I die today,
I'll have the works of life undone,
Souls still empty, hearts still broken,
If I die today,
...

His eyes twinkled,
When water bowled along,
With a heavy heart full of grief he stood there,
Feeling out of sorts.
...

Caged,
Like the parrot in the cage,
With his tip-top feather shape,
Brutally cut,
...

I wrote it when I was in my 6th grade, couldn't get time to re-edit it so there is the old copy of this poem, in which a child is conversing with his country, imagining how things haven't changed yet.
...

Easy peasy-simple pimple,
When I was younger, I thought so,
Being adult is outshine,
How dumb of me,
...

Unknown,
In an unknown world,
Unknown souls,
Unknown voices,
...

Let me escape,
From my own machinations,
From my own bitter creations,
I feel like I am in an ice cage,
...

In the well that carries sorrows,
Are voices of our tomorrows,
The aquifer holds the aching water,
Yet the well with emptiness around him echoes.
...

Remember me, remember my swan song,

I can't re-orient myself,
I can't live it all over again,
...

Celebration is,
First day of school,
The trembling heart,
Unfamiliar look and
...

In the dark gloomy night,
Lies a sweet birdie,
In the hopes of her flight,
With a jejune heart,
...

Oh my lord! Let me curl myself in this nature,
Let me breath in peace,
Let me heal my wounds-
Washed away by your magic potion,
...

You were the blood in my veins,
You are the hurricane after my rain,
You were the power to my lava,
But now you are the only pain,
...

They roam around the sky,
They are the hearts that fly,
Carrying the keys to laughter they unlock the love,
And lock the cry,
...

I prayed for all this to end.
I prayed all day,
I prayed all night,
But what happened in the end,
...

Untold in you,
With you,
Untold in you,
Watching you,
I feel you,
...

I am waiting for you,
I am waiting to be held in your arms,
To be loved all day long,
I am waiting for you,
...

I look in the mirror,
There i see my reflection,
My twin,
Just like me from head to toe,
...

Shall I ever forget those happy times?

Shall I ever forget those little luncheon boxes,
which had mum's handmade mayonnaise sandwiches,
...

Isolation

I am isolated in this isolation,
In this dark cell,
With darkness darkening me every second,
I am isolated in this isolation,
There’s no hope, No love,
Neither peace nor noise,
But just the uneven silence,
Attacking my mind, my heart, my soul;
Decaying me every moment,
I am isolated in this isolation,
There’s nobody to hear me,
There’s nobody to answer me,
It’s just me,
To hear myself scream,
That: 'I am isolated',
Prisoner to this-
Haunting prison,
I am isolated,
Stuck in myself,
where there’s no air,
I have already ceased breathing,
This isolation has already killed me,
Let’s do this formality of death sentence,
For I am isolated, in this isolation,
Another dead body to this silent grave.
