Athena Benjamin Poems
How Dare You
How dare you? How dare you kick a man when he's down. How dare you push her to the ground when no one's around. Who do you think you are to make her feel like crap inside.
Happy Birthday to YOU! ! !
Happy Birthday to YOU Whether you did something wrong or right, Happy Birthday to YOU.

The Wedding Poem
The Bible says in 1st Corinthians 13: 4-8 says; Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. Will you be patient and kind. Will you be jealous or content, will you boast and be proud, will you be cordial, will you be selfish, will you be provoked or grudgeful. Will you rejoice in iniquity or in the truth. Will you believe in, hope and endure all things. Will you ever fail.
Fire, Hearts. Hearts on Fire. My Heart's on Fire for You. No one else can out it but You.
Tears, Blood, & Smiles
My tears are for you, yes for you. For you because, you hurt inside. For you because, you seldom smile.
What do you hear, in your ear? Is it a bird or a bee, Or the whispering of the trees.

How Dare You
How dare you?
How dare you kick a man when he's down.
How dare you push her to the ground when no one's around.
Who do you think you are to make her feel like crap inside.
Who do you think you are to take her rights away.
who do you think you are to make fun of her because she's gay.
Don't tell her that she's nobody,
or convince her to be like everybody.
Don't change her because she's different,
reward her because she's confident.
Don't sit her down because she speaks out,
acknowledge her because her opinion matters.
Everybody's different in ...
