The winter breeze
Seems frigid to me.
As I sit in the park
All alone.

There's a place on my mind
That I'd love to go.
It's a place in the sky
And the birds know the road.

I'm sick and full of burning.
My heart's been ripped out of my chest.
And though I am still standing,
My soul's been laid to rest.

You were my tower.
Strong and true.
Standing over me, I knew I loved you.
You tower over me with a light that brightens my world.

Love is just a toool,
Battered abd abused,
A simple form of magic.
With a stamp on my broken heart labled:

There are scars,
Along my arm.
For everytime that I
Did something wrong.

Whatever it is, he's got it.
I don't know what to do,
But I love him and that's how I want it.
Thinking about him drives me crazy.

Staring at the midnight sky,
As I watch the mist flow by,
Images of you and me,
Roll through my mind.

As I lay tossing and turning,
As the world around me lies in death and burning,
A war is waging but none can see,
The war that's waging is between shadows and me..

As the rain falls down from
The darkened sky
I sit at my window
In hopes that it will pass by.

my thoughts are heavy, thick, and dark.
Through shadows of the past,
I finally see my mark.
My heart's been Stabbed, torn, bitten, and bruised.

Does he see me?
Does he know
That my crush on him grows?
When he sees me,

Phoenix
Graceful flight
Soaring, coasting, burning
Reborn through its ashes
